Vodafone UK slides with Samsumg UltraTOUCH

Vodafone is planning to offer the Samsung UltraTOUCH S8300 on March 19 in the UK. The phone will be released under plans starting at 30 GBP.

Called the Tocca Ultra Edition in the UK, the S8300 features a sliding numeric keypad in addition to a 2.8 inch 16M full touch WQVGA AMOLED with Anti Reflection screen. The phone is about entertainment with an 8 megapixel camera with dual LED flash and face detection (great while out drinking!). The camera capable of recording high resolution video in a number of formats.

Added to this is HSDPA/3G data, GPS navigation, Bluetooth v2.1, web browsing and MP3 music player. Memory is sorted with internal offerings of 80MB and external memory of up to 16GB. One thing that impresses me in the online demonstration through the Samsung website. It is one thing to list a range of specifications in a PDF Document, although this is really something Samsung should be proud of. The website compliments the sleak design and technology of the phone while being easy on the eye and straight to the point. I live in the wrong country…
