The first touchscreen only Blackberry was the Storm and it has been on the market for a while now. The device was criticized nearly universally for its poorly performing touch screen and lack of the loved Blackberry keyboard.

If you read the reviews and still find yourself wanting a Storm, this is the time to buy. We have heard the rumors that the Storm 2 is coming and to clear out stocks of the original Storm, Verizon has hacked the price of the Storm to $50 with a 2-year contract.

The rub is that the Storm 2 is apparently coming soon and is expected to be much better than the original. Still, those of us who don’t really consider ourselves Blackberry connoisseurs may find the original Storm to be just fine.
