New Epson 1.56 Mp Electronic Viewfinder panel

Following the announcement of the 0.47-inch SVGA evf panel in October, Seiko Epson today announces the development of a new high-temperature polysilicon TFT color panel for electronic viewfinders. The new evf panel measures just 0.52 of an inch and offers QHD 960 x 540 (800 x 600 for the 0.47 version) resolution in red, green and blue for a total of 1.56 megapixels. The new panel is targeted for use as a widescreen electronic viewfinder in broadcast and industrial camcorders for professionals.....

Sony announces 3.0-inch LED backlit 921K LCD

Sony introduces the ACX396AKS LCD module, a 3-inch LED backlit LCD that uses low-temperature polysilicon transistors. The panel features ultrahigh resolution (271 ppi) and through its Window-On antireflection process technology it can display strong blacks and increases display visibility.
