Droid sales are robust, Samsung favors Android, and Milestone heads to Telus

Last weekend was the first weekend that the Motorola Droid was available to purchase on the Verizon network. Official sales figures are not available, but analysts predict about 100,000 Droids were sold opening weekend. The boxy Motorola Milestone is certainly not as sexy as the new Droid, but may be more to some users liking. The Milestone is set to hit the Telus network in Europe in early 2010. Today the HTC HD2 turned up on the O2 website which lends strength to the expectations that the device will launch soon on the O2 network.
