Sony to release its personal communicator Mylo Com2 in Japan

Sony announced the release of its personal communicator ‘Mylo Com2’ in Japan market, which adopts a 3.5-inch 800 x 480 touchscreen display and a slide-out back-lit qwerty keyboard.

The Mylo Com2 offers an improved web experience with Adobe Flash Lite 3 support and allows you to upload and download content directly from the web. For communication you will have your choice of AIM, Google Talk, Yahoo! Messenger and Skype.
Equipped with 1GB of internal memory, it also supports up to 8GB of additional storage via Memory Stick Duo media. There is also a 1.3-megapixel camera and the ability to upload and edit pictures.

For audio you can choose from listening to one of the many online music services and the device will also be able to play AAC, MP3, AATRAC and WMA files. For video the Mylo will be able to handle MPEG4 and MPEG4 baseline or use one of the online services to include Google Video, YouTube or MySpace.

It is expected to be available on March 1st, suggested price 35,000(JPY).
