Sony Ericsson USA has officially announced the forthcoming launch of the Sony Ericsson Xperia X1a Windows Mobile device manufactured by HTC with pre-orders currently underway via SonyStyle.com.
The device features a 3 inch WVGA (800×480) widescreen touch sensitive display, Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional Edition, quadband GSM with support for triband W-CDMA bands with HSPA, aGPS support, Bluetooth 2.0 with stereo audio support, 400 MB internal memory with microSD expansion slot, Wi-Fi radio, FM radio, handwriting recognition, sliding QWERTY keyboard, front mounted VGA camera for video calls, 3.2 megapixel main camera with autofocus and 24fps VGA video recording, optical joystick, as well as the Xperia Panel Interface.
The device will retail for $799.99 and be available online and in SonyStyle retail stores the same day.
