News of several new Samsung Netbooks for 2010 are starting to leak out into the Internet. First up we are going to take a look at the Samsung N220 netbook.
Samsung N220 Review
Details are scarce at the moment, but here is an initial impression based on what we currently know about the new model. The new N220 has been spotted in both “attractive” red and green colours. I think that this design choice may well spark off another N310 style love/hate relationship with the new look!
The real talking point here is the inclusion of the Atom N450 which utilises Intel’s Pine Trail technology. This new chip should allow the netbook run for over 11 hours! However whilst clocked at a familiar 1.66Ghz it is not clear whether there will be much of a performance improvement.
The netbook is well styled with a clean look, a flat well spaced keyboard, and what appears to be a non-gloss screen. It also appears to include two distinct buttons below the standard looking touch pad. All in all this is strong, but standard, netbook fair. Will the other new models include anything more interesting? Watch this space!
