If you are one of the many who has been surprised that Google has offered no Google phone running its popular Android OS you aren’t alone. A new rumor has Google launching an official phone in early 2010 with the Google brand and a Korean firm is rumored to be building the device for Google.
T-Mobile customers in the UK have good reason to be mad today. Word has surfaced that customer data was sold by T-Mobile staff to cold callers. The employees that sold the data were unauthorized to do so and will face prosecution.
Maemo is said to be replacing Symbian on all of the high-end Nokia N-series handsets by 2012. Several of Nokia’s high-end phones are already using Maemo so it’s no surprise all the devices would be moving that way. I am sure with the investment in Symbian it will hang around on some Nokia models.
