Nokia has a new phone about to hit the town (though it was rumored that the first town will be somewhere in Vietnam we are still not so sure about it) which will have a code name ‘Mystic’ but now it’s not so much of a mystery since we already know a few details about this new device.
Judging by the looks of it, Mystic slash C6 looks like a downgraded version of E72 and E75 while it’s an improved version of the C5. This phone seems to have been dressed with Nokia’s low cost phone OS. As you can see the screen of Mystic/C6 has a white background similar to the basic phone Nokia offers. Unlike the N series, E and X series that has a more vibrant color and sophisticated program. Though the high-end phones of Nokia is Symbian powered just like this new one I guess there is a huge difference between Mystic and the other “Smartphones’ of Nokia.
Nobody has test driven this phone yet that is why all I can do is judge it by the looks of it. It may have a qwerty pad just like Blackberry and its high-end siblings but the keypad is not enough for it to be called powerful or at par with Nokia’s Smartphones.
The first time I saw this phone made me tell myself ‘hmmm looks familiar’ if we would compare this to the newest phone of Nokia then of course it highly resembles C5 and a few of E63.The only difference of C5 to the allegedly called C6 phone is that the keypad and overall built. C6/Mystic is huge, I guess it is Nokia’s way of letting us know that Mystic is a Smartphone but I guess having a bulky phone is not such a hit anymore though Mystic doesn’t seem to be really huge but it is quite thick.
Nokia Mystic slash C6 looks like it is trying to be compared to E63. Actually all the name I have said here is still not official so you may see this phone later this May or June together with the E series phones. I was able to catch a few tidbits that it’s possible that this is the latest phone for E series but then again it’s all gossip.
What I am sure of is that it will deliver a 5 megapixel camera with LED flash, RAM of 256 MB and 512 of ROM. The screen measures 2.4 inches the resolution is 320×240. Price tag is between $275-300.
