Your post is very informative and thank you for making this knowledge available here, it is surely very useful for me :). I have tried some softwares earlier for conversion of images but the best that I have come across till now is &lt;a href=&quot;http://www.contenta-converter.com/features.php&quot; rel=&quot;nofollow&quot;&gt;contenta converter&lt;/a&gt;. The main reason behind this is that the user interface is very simple to use and the list of image formats that it can use and the cameras that it supports is huge and it converts, processes and organizes my images very efficiently . But one must keep on experimenting. The comparison of pictures that you have shown in your post is really good.
