The HTC Magic (aka myTouch 3G on T-Mobile in the US) will soon be available in Canada via Rogers, but while it is yet to become available in both North American countries, Spaniards have been enjoying it for quite a while now.

So, in an effort to share the love (or making us even more green in envy), Engadget Spanish has released this hands-on video of the HTC Magic/G2 for everyone to enjoy. Apparently, despite it lacking a physical QWERTY keypad, the user experience is still quite the same with its predecessor, the G1 which is also debut on Rogers next month. They did, however, find the accelerometer a tad bit slow and typing while in portrait mode a little difficult due to the smaller size of the keys. Nonetheless, those minor flaws can be a matter of personal taste that can vary from person to person.

Anyway, we’ll shut up now and let you be the judge in this video.

If not for anything else, this serves as a delectable appetizer for the main course of Roges finally releasing the HTC Magic in Canada this year.
