Blackberry Storm 2 hits Verizon, Nokia charger recalls, and lame Motorola handset

Friday the Blackberry Storm 2 officially hit the Verizon network. The handset can be had for $179.99 after a $100 mail-in rebate. I wonder if you can get the device without fussing with the rebate at Best Buy.

Nokia announced a recall on 14 million chargers for its mobile phones today. The recall covers chargers with model numbers AC-3E, AC-3U, and AC-4U. The chargers pose a shock hazard according to Nokia and were built by a third party.

We have been very impressed with some of the slick Motorola handsets recently like the DROID. Motorola seems to be unable to weed out all the junk handsets though and its latest MOTO Klassic is boring.
