AT&T Shine II, DROID camera fix, and Saygus VPhone detailed

AT&T and LG have announced that the new Shine II mobile phone will be landing on the AT&T network on November 22. The handset has the shiny LCD from the original along with other new features. The Shine II will sell for $119.99 after rebates.

A fix for the camera woes some users where experiencing with the DROID handsets has apparently been rolled out silently. Some reports say that wiping the anti-glare coating off fixed the issue, but others think a software fix is the reason for improvements with the camera’s autofocus.

More details of the Saygus VPhoen have turned up today. The device claims to be the first handset in the US to support 2-way video calls. The video calls promise to work on lowly EDGE networks and 3G networks.
