Android 2.1 Rom for HTC Sense leaks, N87 to replace N86, and Nokia to take Symbian to new level

A new ROM has leaked that has Android 2.1 with HTC Sense that is set to run on the HTC Hero handset. The new ROM is available over at xda-developes to download. Naturally, the software is alpha so it’s not something you want to use on your only handset.

A new Nokia N87 handset has turned up that is set to replace the N86 already available. The N87 has turned up on a video and claims to have a 3.2-inch touch screen and a 12-megapixel camera.

Nokia has promised to take Symbian to a new level in 2010 and to offer Maemo 6 in the second half of 2010. I wonder if the new level of Symbian glory is the reason why there is rumored to only be one Maemo handset coming in 2010.
